Sarah Cabot is a force to be reckoned with.<\/strong><\/p>\n An ideal combination of ultra-premium Pinot Noir expertise, viticultural knowledge, and all-around passion for winemaking in Oregon. She has applied years of boutique winemaking to her approach at Battle Creek Cellars, reinvigorating the brand and telling the story of Oregon\u2019s nuanced terroir. In addition to the Battle Creek Cellars Unconditional Pinot Noir blend of select vineyards throughout Oregon, she released the winery\u2019s first single vineyard designate Pinot Noir series in 2016.<\/p>\n \u00a0A familiar name in the region, Sarah has been making wine in the Willamette Valley for more than 12 years. Prior to joining Battle Creek Cellars, she was the principal winemaker for Omero Cellars at its founding in 2008 until early 2014. She was an assistant winemaker for Willakenzie Estate and started in Oregon as a harvest intern and then assistant winemaker for Belle Pente Vineyard in Carlton.<\/p>\n Today, she is one of few Oregon winemakers\u2013and one of the few women nationwide \u2013to crush more than 1,000 tons of Pinot Noir each harvest and earn critical acclaim each vintage.
