Dobbes Family Estate brings you beautifully crafted wines from Oregon. Our wines go beyond the taste to offer a truly fun and inspired experience. We are creating our own wine legacy by combining old traditions and new world winemaking techniques with unique experiences. Founded in 2002, we are dedicated to consistently crafting wines that exude the best of Oregon. That includes traditionally made Burgundian-inspired Pinot Noir and other varietals from Oregon’s Willamette and Rogue Valleys. 

We make wines that are true to their varietal character. Our wines show as much depth, elegance, opulence and balance as possible. There’s always a new wine emerging from our winemaking team. Because they are fueled by their passion, they are continuously exploring of Oregon’s terroirs and endless wine possibilities. The Dobbes Family Estate portfolio of wines include: Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Sparkling Wine and a number of unique dessert wines. 

In 2002, after 17 years working in the business for others internationally and in Oregon, Joe started this company with: “… a small amount of money in my back pocket, a lot of experience and passion, and sufficient ignorance of what I was up against.” Today our multi-faceted wine company is in our second-generation as we continue what Joe started 20 years ago.
