    The 2019 Shift Red Wine is a rich ruby with a purple tinge and is 58% Zinfandel, 24% Tempranillo, 13% Syrah, and the rest Petite Sirah. It offers aromas of red and black currant, red plum, and black raspberry, as well as vanilla bean, pepper, and toasted cedar. Full-bodied, with notes of fresh red plum, baked earth, and mocha, it’s a rich wine with a decadent feel, and there’s little of that ashy tannin structure found in the Blue Dog.
